So, as we’ve discussed over the past few days (check yesterday’s blog, if you want), the FDA approved Aduhelm, the monoclonal antibody that attaches to amyloid. The problem is that there is no clinical data demonstrating this will help alleviate the memory loss in Alzheimer’s patients- despite the FDA approval.

11 Years- and counting
Eleven years I have been posting at this site. That’s how long Cerebrations has been sharing information with you.
The 1rst day of Shvuot
I stayed up all Sunday night. And, now my menu is limited to dairy meals for today and tomorrow. Because those are the traditions of the Feast of Weeks, Shvuot.
45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50!
We’ve been counting since the Pesach (Passover) Seder. (Which, unfortunately for the second year in a row had to be held over Zoom. Since only I was fully vaccinated. This pandemic must go.) 50 days after we were freed from Egypt (Mitzrayim- a place of narrow straits), we were waiting by Mount Sinai (sorry- NOT in the “Sinai Peninsula”, more likely in Saudi Arabia, near an active volcano), to receive the 10 Commandments. Where the words were seen- yes, seen. I admit, until I saw the effects of a rocket plant explosion in Henderson, Nevada, I had no idea you really could see “sound”. Not surprising that those in attendance were totally awed…
A Special Gift
A Heinz related memory. 57 years ago, my grandmother (my father’s mom) bought me a beautiful set of tfilin (phylacteries).
Repercussions
I waited a respectable amount of time.
It seems that the 147 Congressfolks and the 8 Senators who felt compelled to repeat the lies of TheDonald may have skirted the proper Capitol response. (That response is to refuse to seat these folks for their actions.) But, that doesn’t mean they are skating free of repercussions.
Safe Travel
I’m sure most of you are just like me. Petrified to take a flight anywhere (especially if you read my blog yesterday!) and about as scared to board a train (or- heavens to Mergetroid- to even consider a bus). And, that’s NOT because of conditions at the destination- it’s because of conditions of transit.
The Splitting of the Sea
Can you believe it? Just a week ago, we were released from bondage- at which time we celebrated the Ten Plagues. Dam, Tzfardaya, Kinim.. In English: Blood. Frogs. Lice. Wild Beasts. Pestilence. Boils. Hail. Locusts. Darkness. Slaying of the First-born.
Bugs to the rescue?
This is going to be a story about what happens when we develop a creative solution to a problem- only to find out that the problem we were solving is now moot. Not because another solution developed, but because the issue is no longer. (Please note- as you will see later- the problem didn’t get corrected; no, the problem went away because extinction occurred first.)
