Remember that old saw- “the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated”? Just like they weren’t true about Mark Twain, they are not true about PPACA (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare).

The End of An Era
I was seven or eight years old. And, there was a man in the dining room, sitting at the table with my father.
I remember him.
I was talking with my friend the other day on the phone. And, since he called me, I had to hit the mute button on my sound system. (I was doing work, which meant I had a few TV’s blaring- plus the radio.) When I do that, the “screensaver” comes on the TV and news headlines stream.
It’s YOUR Turn!
We have a president who simply cares for himself. No one else. He demands loyalty and provides none. (Look at his cabinet switches or how he treats his personal fixer.)
Hurk. Ack.
The first day I went to Building 10 (that was the ChemE building at MIT), I rode my bike from what is now known as the Tang Residences [it was Westgate II when I was a grad student), my nose was overwhelmed. A sickly, sweet smell pervaded the air.

Our hope is not yet lost (עוד לא אבדה תקוותנו)
Today is a most special day. 70 years ago (the Hebrew date, which is the 5th of Iyar, is the one that counts), the State of Israel was created. A dream that had been unfulfilled for almost 2000 years.

SNAFU
To misquote Nikki Haley, one of the very few ethical members of TheDonald’s retinue, “I don’t get confused”. (In case you don’t know about this, she was left hanging after she announced this past week that Steve Mnuchin would be detailing further Russian sanctions for their part in the Syrian poisoning, only to be “clarified” by TheDonald.)
NOW!!!
Come on! You’ve been given much more time.
Because the 15th of April fell on a Sunday, the normal scheme of things would be that yesterday would have been the day to file your taxes. Except the IRS relies on Andover (MA) to process a bunch of electronically filed forms. And, the 16th of April was Patriot’s Day.
