I’ve written about meta-analyses before.  In particular, it’s an interesting method to examine medical data from diverse studies. It’s not something new. (It’s been around for almost 1000 years, clearly using the existent statistics.)  The trick is that you need large studies to be linking together, or the results get to be too limited in value.

A new moon.  That means there really is NO moon.  On a moonless night, we can see all the stars (assuming it’s not going to be stormy or cloudy tonight- which now that I am proofing this today- is, indeed, going to be the case).  And, in my religion, it’s the advent of a new month.

There’s a switch!

I’m a pretty voluble guy.  I love to run around and be involved, talk with strangers, get excited, etc.  Until there is a crisis- which is when I become (at least for me) unnaturally quiet, focused, and dedicated to solving the issue(s).  (My ex-wife was stupefied the first time she was presented with my reaction to a major crisis- she had expected a completely different scenario.)
