Roy, that was SO helpful! First of all, it’s good to hear an estimate that we are likely to be dealing with this pandemic for at least 6 more months, and realistically, longer than that. Secondly, this is the first time I have heard that the virus has actually been around since December! That makes me think my household may have had it in January/February. Everyone of us got sick and it came in waves for over a month. We all thought this was the worst flu we had ever had. I went to the hospital with a temp of 104 – highest ever remember having. I remember wondering if I wold ever get over it & it I could possibly die from it – that’s how bad it was. I did lose my sense of taste, but I don’t know if I lost smell. I did have nausea. Definite respiratory challenges. And we all got it. We thought we got it twice, but that may have been because we didn’t all get it at the same time, so there was always an infected person nearby. I have wondered several times in the past few months if that might be what we had, but I kept thinking it was unlikely because the virus came on the scene in March. Now, I am thinking maybe that is what we had. Thanks, again, Roy, for all of the information you shared. I don’t yet know if you have given me info in a response to my comment yesterday, but I am interested in anything you have heard about people having it longer & the connection between COVID and the subsequent development of Me/CFS.
It’s entirely possible you had a relatively mild case, long before we knew what was around us.
Watched the entire video.Seeing people going about without masks is making me want to say angry words.
I have less internal inhibitions, Dr. A!
Very educational Roy! Lia has a message in my blog tomorrow about masks!
