After being hospitalized since the 27th of March, I am now home. I’m weak, but home.
I have trained nurses coming to the house thrice a week to maintain my wound recovery and I have PT coming two more times a week to help me increase my strength and endurance.
They didn’t amputate (as one of the primary doctors advocated), but I do have extensive skin grafts that are still healing. Going up steps (of which my home has many) is still a primary chore, but i can maneuver down the steps reasonably well.
And, I also managed to get a haircut- the first one in some 75 days. So I look much less than a crazed mountain man and more like the person I have been.
Given these parameters, I feel I can start sharing my thought with you- my faithful and devoted readers.
