Armistice Veterans Day
The 11th hour of the 11th month in 1918. The world ended “The Great War”. That was what the the first war fought across the globe. The War to end all wars. Right- which is why ‘The Great War’ was soon to be renamed World War I. But, The Great War is the appellation my father learned, too- and it was among the last sanctioned battles in which my grandfather (my mother’s father) was a participant.
A small gift
So, it’s almost November. Which means we should be considering our 2020 tax positions.
Most of you know that it’s become nearly impossible to itemize deductions nowadays. Overall, the Tax Cut and Jobs Act (effective for 2018 forward) decimated the number of folks who itemize- from 31% of all returns down to 13.7%. But, you can see from the chart that it really has hurt those that are not the richest folks in America the most.

So, yesterday, we discussed the computational chemistry (theoretical) research effected by Anika Chebrolu that won her the 3M Young Scientist fair. Today, we’ll discuss research being done by adults in Bristol (UK), Heidelberg (Germany), and Geneva (Switzerland).
