100 Days.

That’s right- 100 days from today (I will be inserting this in the queue- so it will be mighty close to that number)- America is going to vote.

Which will be problematic.  Because America is going to be deep into Wave 2 of the pandemic around November 2020.  And, amid the annual flu season.

We’ve seen how the voter rolls are being destroyed, how voting is being restricted (like ONE polling station for a whole city, only one vote recorder in a district).

So, we have to act now.

Vote dot org

I am asking you to go to Vote.org and verify that you are registered to vote.

Am I registered to vote?

No, I am asking you to do more.  Make sure your name, your address, your date of birth is properly recorded.  If you aren’t registered or the data is incorrect- fix it NOW.

Yes, you are registered to vote

And, now that you are registered… Get your absentee ballot.  So, you can vote by mail, which lets you stay safe and secure in your home.

Absentee Ballot registration

Oh, wait- you are not done.

Share this site with your friends and relatives.  They need to vote, too.

You notice I did not ask for whom you will vote.

Vote

(Yes, I do assume you are a sentient being…)

  1. I know that I am registered to vote, but I think I will be moving soon (in the next couple of months.) So I will need to wait until then, update my address and then, register for an absentee ballot.

  2. I share your commitment to voting! And being prepared in plenty of time for the upcoming election! In fact, I just received my voter registration confirmation (by mail, here in CA). Thanks for the screen shares and reminders and neutrality of the message.

  3. I’m registered and my spouse and I sent in our applications for absentee ballots a couple of weeks ago. We are fortunate to live in New York State, but we are also seeing, with horror, the fact that absentee ballots from our June primaries are STILL being counted – almost 6 weeks later. This is going to be a huge problem if we don’t start working on solutions now.
