TheDonald has shut down the US government- no, not in full- but a good portion of it- because he wants to build a wall. The wall that he promised Mexico would pay for. And, since he can’t get Mexico to pay for it, he’s taking it out on the US Civil Servants. (And, way more than that.)
Zero Tolerance
I wasn’t going to join in the parade of folks damning TheDonald and his immigration “policy”. Because the one thing folks can be sure of when TheDonald opens his mouth is that there is only untruths spouting therefrom.
Dark Shadows
So, last Friday, I gave you a hint of the kind of warfare our infrastructure is enduring. Not well, mind you. Which means we are at risk. At risk of being flooded out of our homes, left in the dark, having our factories shut down, or traveling our roads confounded with lights that are arranged for congestion or collisions.
Budget Malarkey
Counting Social Security and Medicare, the US Government spend 20 cents of every dollar to fund the Defense Department. And, worse yet, almost a nickel of the total budget is assigned to Iraq and Afghanistan. And, the $ 700 billion defense budget is the same as China, France, Russia, Japan, Germany, India, Canada, Israel and NINE (9) other countries spend … combined together.
