Today is a holiday. The holiday of Purim (“Lots”). My family has also celebrated Shushan Purim, the name for the second day; most Ashkenazi Jews only celebrate it if they live in walled cities like Jerusalem or Quebec.) The Purim holiday celebrates the ploys of Esther (also known as Hadassah), the Jewish Queen of Babylonia, and her uncle (godfather?) Mordechai.

Thrive?
We have been brought up with a slew of racist and classist notions that prevents us a nation from achieving the best for everyone. Moreover, despite the stated intents- we ensure that folks simply can’t work, given the conditions. (It is generally not laziness or poor choices.)

Who’s getting audited??????
I am sure this will thrill many of you.
The IRS is getting audited.
Yes, you read that correctly. But, it’s not quite the turnaround many of you would want. This is more related to one of my frequent bitches about the IRS.
Nothing new under the sun
We used to have big laughs around our conference room. Mostly about the devices we were developing. How we had to dumb down our ideas some- because we were a decade or two beyond where the world was- and our clients wouldn’t be able to market those concepts if they were too far away from the general horizon.
No, not you…
I have tried to hold my tongue (those of you who know me understand how hard that really is), but I am fed up with the self-congratulatory messages the EU (and the USA) folks have been spewing.
