So, Monday, we spoke how younger Americans are clueless about the Holocaust.  And, I said that was one of the reasons why Anti-Semitism is on the rise.  The other reason is our president, TheDonald.  (I wrote about this most recently last year.)

TheDonald wants everyone to believe that he is the world’s greatest benefit for the Blacks, for the Hispanics, for the Jews. The only folks who believe that malarkey are White folks- and many of them are prejudiced White folks.

After all- here are some of the TRUE comments that TheDonald has uttered about minorities in the USA.

“Blacks only have themselves to blame for their unequal shares in the American Dream.  After all, they are hindered more by lack of initiative than societal impediments.

“Nobody loves the Blacks more than me.”  (Of course, if that were true, there’d be no reason to vocalize the thought.)

Or, that he and the Cambridge Analytica team (GOP ‘dirt digger’) denoted that “Deterrence” should be the process by which Blacks be addressed.

 

When Melania (Trump) was planning to travel to Africa, theDonald’s rejoinder was he “never could understand why she would want to go there.”

Let’s not forget some of his buzzwords, either.  As the champion of the “Suburban Lifestyle Dream”, he has obliterated all mention of “White privilege” by federal agencies.    Or, his (false) claim that he can revamp the school curricula (these are state mandates, not federal) to remove the “lies about America being a wicked nation plagued by racism”.

I don’t know who can forget this gem “Tell me one country run by a Black person that isn’t a shithole”.

I am not willing to agree with Omarosa Manigault Newman who claims that TheDonald routinely uttered the “N” word.   Only because I’ve never heard him say it- and he loves to use code words, which he thinks gives him plausible deniability about his racist beliefs.  But, recently Mary L. Trump (his niece, suing him for millions in swindled inheritances) also avers that TheDonald routinely utters the “N” word and anti-Semitic Slurs.  So, maybe.

Jews, according to TheDonald, “are only in it for themselves” and “stick together” in an ethnic allegiance that exceeds other loyalties.

Then, there’s this “logic” that TheDonald employs.  Folks involved with “Black Lives Matter” are following [a] “symbol of hate”- but  White militants barging into the Michigan Capitol are loyal patriots.  Or, the “very fine people on both sides” when describing the Nazi/White Power take over of Charlottesville streets.  (By the way, at least one of those “very fine people” was training a semi-automatic rifle on the only synagogue in Charlottesville.  Those Shabat praying folks had to slink out the back door to escape.) Let us also not forget that to this very moment, the FBI considers White Supremacists to be the major threat to American citizenry.

And, then, during the Trump-Biden debate, he called on a White Supremacist group- replete with virulent anti-Semitism- “to stand back and stand by” (another series of buzzwords).  And, also  to patrol (i.e., intimidate) the voting booths.

Or that the ‘squad’- the minority Congresswomen- should “go back” to their “crime-infested” countries.  (Note: most were born in the US, one has been an American citizen for decades.)

Other wonderful buzz expressions.  Should Joe Biden be elected, the “American way of life will be abolished” and “no one will be SAFE”.

None of these racist beliefs are new.  The Trumps settled a Justice Department lawsuit covering their systemic discrimination against Black apartment applicants in the 1970s.  Followed a decade later (in the 1980s) with TheDonald placing full page ads demanding the Black teens (wrongfully accused, one should note) be put to death for a rape in Central Park.  And, of course, the ubiquitous “Obama is not an American” while Obama was running for- and serving as- the US presidency.

So, it’s not surprising that racist America finds TheDonald to be the president of choice.  (I am not saying all those who voted for TheDonald are racist- but a good percentage clearly are.)  Or that theDonald is a favorite of David Duke and Richard Spencer.

 

Or that TheDonald slashed funding for the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department.  Or that he backs state measures to deprive minorities of the right to vote.  Among other indignities.

Yes, indeed, TheDonald learned to be a racist from his father.  And, he’s gone him one better.

Now, he’s inciting neoNazis and White Supremacists to envelop the USA in their hate.
