Queens Racist

I wasn’t going to do this. And, I’m sorry if you get pissed off that I am- but, I really don’t give a damn when it comes right down to it.

Unfortunately, the Racist from Queens showed his true colors again this weekend. And, unless you are a total nitwit, you aren’t surprised that not a soul in the Republican Party (it has lost its ability to claim the moniker GOP- since it is NOT a grand old party- or even to claim they are the party of Lincoln- unless they mean George Lincoln Rockwell) admitted to the facts clearly evident.

Here’s his first series of tweets. Because 280 characters was not enough to contain his bile.

TheDonald's tweets on Sunday morning

This bigot- who claims he’s “really smart”- is too stupid and lazy to do any research or reading. So, he invents yet another slew of facts. (You do recall his “Birther” campaign against Barack Obama, a way to negate the fact that a Black man was President of the US.  One, by the way, who won both the total vote and the electoral college.  Not like TheDonald.) That these four women bear the moniker of “The Squad” were not born in America. (It’s true one is an American citizen from Somalia. Who’s been a citizen longer than a certain model from Slovenia.)  Of course, their biggest crime is that they don’t match the image in TheDonald’s mind that all Americans are white folks.

Moreover, TheDonald – as is true for most Republican operatives- deliberately mis-states the party with which these folks associate.  It is the Democratic Party.  Its adherents are Democrats.   But there is no Democrat (sic) Party.

Which brings up the “explanation” tweets that TheDonald issued.More of TheDonald's tweets

Despite the charades in the House, declaring TheDonald employs racist memes is no less true than calling a Cadillac a car.

And, to listen to the Turtle from Kentucky try to claim that these tweets were not racist only proves his nickname is accurate. (TheTurtle actually tried to use TheDonald BS analogy that “it comes from both sides”.  Like we needed a reference to Charlottesville to discern how racist the Republican party leadership has become.)  After all, ‘go home” rhetoric is as ‘Racist American’ as immigration itself.  (Nixon tried the same BS with his “Love it or leave it” routine- courting the same White folks TheDonald wants to corral with his current screeds.)

Let’s be perfectly clear. These taunts from TheDonald follow a definite pattern, one used for generations.  It almost always starts with the Jews. Because unless a racist is being particular, the Jews have always been ‘the cause of everything bad.’ As was explained in two terribly wonderful pieces in the Wall Street Journal this past weekend. It’s why the Jewish folks were among the first groups to assist Blacks in obtaining their civil rights- because the Jewish people know the problems of discrimination.

WSJ article on AntiSemitism(Here’s a quote from the one above:  “When there is a world-wide economic and social malaise, people look for scapegoats—and the Jews have always served as scapegoats,” said Francis Kalifat, the president of CRIF, the council uniting France’s Jewish institutions. “Anti-Semitism creates bridges between the far right and the far left: They have such a hatred in common that they come together.”…revived old patterns of vilifying the Jews as the embodiment of the corrupt elites supposedly responsible for society’s ills.Meanwhile, unfiltered social media has pushed these anti-Semitic tropes, long confined to the fringes, into the mainstream of public debate. On any given issue—from economic inequality to the financial crisis to immigration and terrorism—old and new conspiracy theories blaming the Jews have gained new traction, abetted by the political polarization and general crisis of confidence permeating Western democracies.)

TheDonald has added the ‘Immmigrant” or “migrant” to the scapegoat pile.

WSJ Anti-Semitism and Islam

(The second article was not really about Ms. Omar- even though that’s what a glance at the title would imply.  It’s about Islamic folks in general.  To wit: …little attention has been paid to the special case of Muslim anti-Semitism. That is a pity because today it is anti-Semitism’s most zealous, most potent and most underestimated form…When I was a little girl, my mom often lost her temper with my brother, with the grocer or with a neighbor. She would scream or curse under her breath “Yahud!” followed by a description of the hostility, ignominy or despicable behavior of the subject of her wrath. It wasn’t just my mother; grown-ups around me exclaimed “Yahud!” the way Americans use the F-word. I was made to understand that Jews— Yahud — were all bad. No one took any trouble to build a rational framework around the idea—hardly necessary, since there were no Jews around. But it set the necessary foundation for the next phase of my development…)

Trump the Slumlord

TheDonald has been attacking immigrants (other than his wife) for years. His firm ran slums and barred Blacks from other (nicer) properties. His claims that he has not a ‘racist bone in his body’ is as true as his inauguration was attended by more people than anyone ever.

(It’s not surprising that a real estate guy is always trying to sell us a bridge in the desert.)

And, to cover his ass, his second set of tweets brings in Israe-l, instead of the proper approach- to apologize for his crude piece of racist screed.  His goal with the second set of tweets was to divert our attention from his racism to our concern about Israel, to divert us from the resonance of his vile thoughts.

As was stated by Ilhan Omar…
“This is a president who has said ‘grab women by the pussy.’ This is a president who’s called black athletes ‘sons of bitches.’ This is a president who has called people who come from black and brown countries ‘shitholes.’ This is a president who has equated neo-Nazis with those who protest against them.”

It’s time for all Americans to realize if we don’t call out racism when we see it, our country will not survive as a democratic republic.  It’s even worse when you realize that this is a calculated choice made by TheDonald- to rile up his racist base to get out the vote for his re-election.Roy A. 1. And I’m shaking my head about the “go back where you came from and fix their problems” comment. Like AOC should go back to…the Bronx? (isn’t part of her district in the Bronx? What ignorance which, of course, isn’t a surprise and the base couldn’t care less.) I tried to find out how many Congresspeople are immigrants (Ted Cruz immediately came to mind but maybe he doesn’t count because one parent was an American citizen) because, as you point out, the silence is deafening. There doesn’t seem to be a ready answer to the “how many Congresspeople are immigrants” (or maybe no one has compiled a list yet). So, I’m following Never Again Action with interest and also Justin Amash, who at least had the courage to leave the Republican Party and speak out against the party line.

    1. I am simply beyond belief. I wasn’t going to join in the fray- until the second set of tweets and the deafening silence from what used to be the party of Lincoln. (As I said, it has ceded control to George Lincoln Rockwell- the American Nazi.)

  2. On board with you here.

Trump says all kinds of nasty things about the country these women originally come from – which happens to be the United States for three of them.

And then he tells them to leave because they say nasty things about the United States.

When they don’t and he does.

  3. Can’t believe he actually said, “go back where you came from,” though he tried to make it sound a little prettier! I agree with everything you have said, and still outraged that we are having to live through this experience at all.

  4. Why can’t he put that inventive imagination of his to some other more useful purpose? write fiction?? Being brown and someone from another country, I always find these comments atrocious and ridiculous
As always, very well said on your part, Roy..
