You know one of the reasons why we try to keep cholesterol levels low? Because this indicator compound indicates that atherosclerosis (“hardening of the arteries”) can result. This means that a waxy deposit forms on the walls of our blood vessels. Get enough deposits and you have a blocked vessel. And that means BIG problems.
I remember being petrified to take the elevator in one of my grandparent’s apartment building. It was slower than molasses (yes, I timed it ) and just about big enough to hold two adults.
Here’s a fact. I have only stepped into WalMart twice in my life. Once when my good friend (whose wife seems to love the place) wanted to shop. (I was more than amazed that someone would venture to WalMart to shop.) The other time was when an ex-girlfriend needed to buy some pet food- and it was midnight. (It seemed the only shop opened near her was a WalMart).
I went to a computer meeting not too long ago. Where the attendees were some 250 computer specialists. And, I was amazed at what happened there.
I had to call in a lifeline today (when this was written). Because I was reading an article that was ticking me off; it made no sense to me.
I admit it! Ever since I was a very little boy. I have devoured noodles and cottage (or farmer’s) cheese. Admittedly, my folks weaned me on this staple (give me some liberty, here) because I was a coeliac kid. And, this menu item met the requirements.
So, we’ve seen the Corporate Executive’s manifesto. We have even seen their ridiculous compensation. And, most of those issues are based upon the fact that these executives find ways to confuse, to obfuscate, and to misreport the developments of their firm to the public (including their stockholders).
Remember what I said yesterday? That these 19 leaders had their own agenda- and not necessarily the one we the stockholders and citizens of the US- want or need for our investments and for the strength of our national economy?
I bet a slew of you saw this advertisement on the back page (behind the editorials) of the US’ major papers recently.
