92 days into this year. (There WAS a leap day, remember?) Normally, this would be a really good time to review your plans, your resolutions. To see how far off the tracks you’ve gotten.
I know you just thought “April Fool’s”. But, even though that is true, I am serious that you need to really discern how your plans are progressing.
And, it wouldn’t hurt to revert to some childish play, at the same time. Even though we have not a clue from where this prankish day’s traditions began.
Of course, was back when Julius was Caesar, this was New Year’s Day. And, it’s possible the celebrations got out of hand- hence the concept of April Fool’s Day.
As long as the jokes are non-violent and the pranks minimal, we can all use a little levity in our lives. And, normally, we would find an article or two in the newspaper that has you shaking your head. Because it probably is their idea of an April Fool’s prank.
Except, this year, we have a few Presidential candidates that clearly must be pranks. Because they can’t be serious with their statements. (We’ll build a separation wall between Mexico and the US. And, Mexico will pay for it. Or, we need to encompass all our Muslim populations and fill those places with cops. As many a comedian has proclaimed, “I don’t have to make s..t up- these guys do it for me.)
So, stay serious. Consider who you should vote for to keep America the shining beacon of light it is. And, review your business and personal plans to you can keep being the shining beacon for yourself.
Because our politicians have abandoned that concept!
Oh Roy, if only it was an April Fool’s joke.
Well, Alana, it is one- on us!
Sure, Mexico will pay for it – to keep US out!
