Attention. Attention. Attention!
So, here’s some research that is clearly aimed at getting our attention. Which I am giving it. But, please- read my entire blog before you go off (perhaps half-cocked) spouting some revelation that (in my opinion) is not really there.

None. Nope, not one. Then, one. And, after four years, there were two. Two girls, separated by four years. My youngest was my youngest for a long time…then she was part of a blended family. Where she still was the youngest, but of four. And, then, she was no longer the youngest.
Here’s to Anni!
I have a friend who has always introduced his lovely wife, Anni, as “his first wife”. It’s cute. It’s insinuating. And, if he didn’t love her with all of his heart, it would be a crime. (By the way, I would venture to say that Anni loves him with all of her heart- most of the time 🙂 ).
Leaders. Not managers.
So, I presume you’ve read my masthead. It’s not just pretty words… I mean it. So does everyone else associated with my firms- now, in the past, and in the future. We will make this world a better place, one client at a time. (We have some 40 years of track records proving that, by the way.)
Another one bites the dust…
By the time you read this, my birthday will have passed. 9 September. And, as I reported before, I’m now part of the older populations. And, yes, my bones do creak- but only loud enough to be heard if you are contiguous to me.
Decisions have Consequences
You know that statement: Decisions have consequences. Well, this is a great example of that fact.
Another problem with our propensity towards obesity
You know that we are getting heftier. Oh, let’s cut the crap. We are becoming obese. And, we know that a 0.1 change in BMI is associated with a 1% change (for the worse, of course) in our well-being (as we age).
