When I was growing up, I went to yeshiva. As one of the two “townies” going to the school (the other was my brother), we shared a bus with kids going to Sacred Heart. 38 of them.

Nauseous?
If you mention chemotherapy, our first mental response is often: Nausea. If I ate potatoes, I’d say it’s like “meat and potatoes”. But, just like I avoid potatoes, there are folks trying to insure that chemo is NOT a hand-in-hand companion to nausea. And, while they’re at it, eliminating morning sickness for pregnant ladies would be another tremendous benefit.
Decisions have Consequences
We are having our babies older than we used to. Which is why our population is not increasing. (As a matter of fact, it was just announced that there were more deaths than births for soon-to-be minority majority Whites in America.) Because the longer we wait, the less likely we will have our (old) average of 2.2 children per family. Even that wasn’t “self-replicating”, with 2.33 children per family- which keeps the population stable. Right now, US families are averaging just over 1.9 children per family. Given the craziness of certain people and their insane beliefs that vaccinations should be withheld from their children, it is not surprising that we are experiencing widespread increases in diseases that were once considered to be virtually eradicated. I won’t even go into the senseless epidemic of flu that is enveloping us.
