BaxterBaxter, one of the larger firms in the dialysis business (but nowhere that powerful in the clinic business), made an announcement that it is planning to spin off its renal care and acute therapies unit into another public company.  It expects to complete the divestiture in 2024 or so.

A son’s hero.

When I wrote this post , I was hooked on the fact that Michigan- for some ridiculous reason- had managed to find its way to the NCAA Basketball Tournament.   You know, March Madness.  I got hooked on this because of my son.  Who gave four years of his life as the basketball manager for this team- and was there when they lost the last game of the season- the NCAA Championship Game a few years ago.(Just so you know, Michigan succumbed in game 2 to Notre Dame.)
