After which, Pharaoh agrees that the Jews can leave Mitzrayim- the narrow place. Only to change his mind, and then chase after the Jews- but gets caught in the waters as they return to their normal condition, having parted for the Jews to cross to the other shore.

Which is exactly what happened on the 7th day.  Pharaoh and his minions, having chased after the Jews, thought they had them cornered by the sea.  Only to see them traverse the waters.

But, when Pharaoh with his chariots entered the newly formed path, the mud on the bottom restricting their speed- giving the wind enough time to attenuate and let the waters reform and re-amass.  Drowning the lot of them.

As soon as the Jews saw this destruction, they immediately broke out in song.  The song, Az Yashir, is one which we Jews recite every morning in our prayers.  To remember how Hashem saved us and gave us our freedom.

This holiday of Freedom, where we celebrate this release from bondage, is spent with our families and friends, recounting the events in Egypt and our release.  As it is the 7th night of Pesach- we are required to cease all work and normal activities.  As opposed to the last four days, tonight we are back in full holiday mode.

May you all find release from your narrow places, to the expanse of freedom and the responsibilities that freedom entails.
