Living in the DC Metro area, it is not unusual to see a bunch of folks working from home- or in my coffee shop. (Yes, I just switched allegiances after more than 20 years.)

Keep on Truckin’
This week, we Jewish folks, read the portion of the Tora called “Shlach” (“Send”). An amazing story about sending 12 spies; leaders from each of the 12 tribes to discern the beauty and capabilities of “the Promised Land”, the Land of Israel.
R-r-regulation? Hmm. Not really.
Yesterday, we spoke about the proliferation of stem cell therapy (sic) centers in America. After all, these clinics are not regulated by the Feds, which leaves the business open to every single snake oil salesman and saleswomen. Most of these slimeballs promise to extract vital stem cells from the fat in our bodies (I don’t know about you, but I have a lot of those to donate) to create medical miracles.
Stem this stuff now
OK. For the past two days, we spoke about STEM. That’s science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. (Here are the links to Monday’s and Friday’s posts.) Today, we’re switching gears to a different stem- stem cell therapy. And, we’ll stay on this topic for a day or two. (I hope to keep you engaged, too!)

As well as great programs in music, grammar (none of this BS ‘texting vernacular’), history, citizenship, and the rest. Because our kids need to be world citizens.
Culinary Excellence Elevated by Technology
I’m sure you’ve heard me say that I love to cook. It’s my way of playing in a chem lab- one that I no longer have at my beck and call. Oh, sure, during the days of KosherDepot and ASTRE, I had plenty of opportunities to exercise my creativity in the lab. Nowadays, it’s just my kitchen.
Blue State Revenge?
Do you guys remember when I told you that some Blue States were going to create their own version of tax chicanery to deal with the GOP onslaught on their finances? (We are talking about that $10,000 maximum SALT – state and local taxes- deduction limit.)
A Sad Day
50 years is a long time. It’s even tougher when you have to imagine what might have been.
Back then, I was a disciple of someone you probably never heard of. Allard Lowenstein. Except I knew him as Al.
My spell check always makes this ATM. Even though that’s wrong.
Ah, yes, the fictions a certain party spins.
