The Ides of March.
A date most of us have learned. Thanks to a long-dead playwright. William Shakespeare. Who ensured the world would remember this day as the one when Julius Caesar, the imperial ruler of Rome, was assassinated.

Here I am- swamped. I’m not complaining. I’m honored so many folks want us to help them with their tax filings.
I remember when I was a little tyke, I would play in my basement. No, not with conventional toys. Oh, sure, one of my distant cousins (who was deeply involved with Sperry Gyroscope and its military inventions) had given me his son’s wonderful Lionel train set (which remained in my possession until I was 12 years old). We are all worried about Russian and Korean bots. But, it turns out, they just help us be the biggest problems of all.
So, tell me what would you do. You find out that one of your sites is being populated by someone who is promoting a canard. To denigrate someone else’s point of view, he’s claiming a young person is a trained actor, spewing words he was told to memorize, and doing it badly.
This has been in my queue for a while. Not because it isn’t important- but because, among my many skills, talents, and training, being an historian is not among them.
Most of us think it was Milton Friedman who was the first to assert corporations have special rights. (Friedman was the one who asserted that corporations have no social compact with their employees or the cities in which they reside.)
It’s been such a long time since I shared a rant. And, today (ok, whenever this really gets posted) seems like the perfect day.
I’ve written about this school before. Back when I spoke about Dr. Bob Schattner.
