One of my friends, Paula Lee Bright,  wrote last week about how Baby Boomers have had their retirement nest eggs destroyed. I remarked at the time, that I had lots to say on this subject, but wanted to avoid the Politics (I have no problems discussing politics on this blog)- and had written extensively on this subject in various other blogs and publications.

From autistic therapy to Toys “R” Us…

I am not sure if I am sad or happy.  A research project- one devoted to improving the lives of autistic children- is going ‘mainstream’.  The project- My Keepon.  Basically, two bright yellow tennis balls stacked upon each other- with a black button nose and round-beaded-eyes. The name comes from the Japanese word for yellow (kiiroi), and the onomatopoeic sound  (pon) it makes when it bounces or bobs.
